Barefoot Caramelized Onion Gouda Burger

Mmm...burger night! Could there be an easier, more delicious weeknight dinner than burgers? We don't think so! This burger recipe is honestly one for the books. Onions caramelized in Barefoot Merlot topped with gouda cheese create this absolutely mouth-watering mix. And the best part is, you'll have wine leftover to pair with your meal. Have we convinced you to try these burgers yet? You won't regret it!

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Pour in the Barefoot Merlot and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

While onions are cooking, season the meat patties with salt and pepper. Place them in a skillet over medium heat and pour the Worcestershire sauce over the top of them. Cook for 8 minutes and then flip. Place Gouda cheese on top and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes or until meat is thoroughly cooked.

Place lettuce leaves on the bottom of the buns followed by patties, onions and the top hamburger bun. Dig in!

1 tablespoon Barefoot Merlot

4 lean ground beef patties

Salt and pepper to season

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

6 ounces Gouda cheese

4 lettuce leaves

4 toasted hamburger buns
