Set the mood

Get the holiday vibes going from the moment your guests arrive with a fun and festive playlist. Whether you go for classic carols or modern holiday hits, the right music can set the tone for a joyful celebration. And with a Barefoot Holiday Cocktail in hand, your guests will be ready to enjoy the party.

Victory in Variety

Be sure to offer a variety of food and beverage options for your guests. Offer a few different appetizer, main course and dessert options that cater to varying dietary preferences or restrictions. If you don’t know already, it’s a could help to ask guests of their preferences in advance of the party. And be sure to have a selection of wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages on hand.

A Cookie Decorating Station

Set up a decorating station with pre-baked sugar cookies and gingerbread, icing along with various toppings. Guest can create their own festive cookie designs. Display them all and vote for a winner!

Holiday Movie Trivia

Create a list of trivia questions about popular holiday movies and divide your guests into teams. The team with the most points wins bragging rights...or a small prize. Everyone loves a prize.

White Elephant Christmas Exchange

Have each guest bring a wrapped, inexpensive gift (probably best to set a spending limit). Everyone takes turns choosing a gift from the pile or ‘stealing’ a gift that someone has already picked. Warning: Will lead to laughter.

Holiday Charades or Pictionary

Prepare a list of holiday-themed words or phrases, and have guests act them out or draw them while their team tries to guess the word or phrase. Set the timer and let the shouting begin

Gift

Present Wrapping Competition

Let's see who has the skills when it comes to wrapping a present. Provide an assortment of wrapping supplies (paper, ribbons, bows, tape, scissors, etc.) along with a variety of gift shapes and sizes (boxes, bottles, stuffed animals, etc.). Each guest wraps a present for the competition. Determine a scoring criteria (least amount of tape used, size of the gift, presentation, technique, etc.) and have your guests all join in on ranking the wrapped gifts. Winner gets bragging rights and the right to declare themselves “Defending Champion” at next year’s party

T’IS The Season To Give Back

Spread some extra holiday cheer this year by incorporating a gift exchange that gives back. Ask each guest to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to a local charity. Then, have a wrapping party and make the experience even more fun and memorable! Your guests will love the chance to give back and make a difference in their community.

Fun Party Favours FTW

End the night on a high note by sending your guests home with custom holiday-themed candles. Purchase plain white candles and decorate them with holiday-themed stickers, ribbons, or paint. Then, you can add a personalized label with your guests' names or a festive message. Your guests will love taking home a unique and thoughtful party favour that they can use to decorate their homes for the holidays. Plus, who doesn't love a good party favour?
