The Dog Days of Summer Call for a Doggone Good Cocktail!

Whew...it's getting hot outside! Like really, really hot. Never fear - we've got the perfect way to cool down with our Melon Mint-jito cocktail. It's our own #SpritzerSeason take on a classic Mojito recipe but with a chilling and thrilling twist!

The recipe calls for a few scrumptious summer fruits like limes, pears and honeydew melons. Then you'll add mint sprigs and Barefoot Refresh Crisp White Spritzer for a refreshing finish that's the perfect #SpritzerSeason way to beat the heat!

Melon Mint-jito

4 oz. Barefoot Refresh Crisp White Spritzer

6-7 whole mint sprigs (not leaves)

1/2 lime (juiced)

4 1-inch honeydew melon chunks

2 1-inch bosc pear (cut lengthwise)

1 oz. simple syrup

1 1/2-2 oz. club soda

Mint sprig garnish

  1. Place mint sprigs, lime juice, honeydew melon, pear and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Muddle lightly.
  3. Add Barefoot Refresh Crisp White Spritzer and ice.
  4. Shake vigorously.
  5. Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.
  6. Top with club soda.
  7. Garnish with additional mint sprig.
