Sharply Dressed Award Show Cheeses

Make your table shine as bright as the big night’s stars with these fancy and flavorful mini brie tuxedos! Dressing up your hors d’oeuvres only requires three simple ingredients. Plus, these classy culinary treats pair perfectly with our own Barefoot Bubbly Brut Cuvee. Does it get much better than that? No. No it doesn’t.

To start, grab a cutting board, a sharp knife, and your favorite brand of brie cheese.

Begin by scoring the top of the brie in a triangular pattern to outline before you cut out your perfect triangular piece.

Repeat this with as many slices as your party needs. Remove from the cutting board and set aside.

Next, select some pitted black olives. These will be our tuxedo bowtie and buttons.

Begin by cutting the olive in half horizontally, so you are left with two squat halves.

Set the halves so they are sitting upright along their cut bottoms, and starting from the rounded top of the olive, cut a slim pear-shaped section down the olive.

Do this for two slices for each bowtie. Use the rest of the olive to cut small square sections, which will be used as buttons.

Starting at the wide end of your brie slice, place your two fatter bowtie pieces with the thin ends facing each other.

Then, place your square chunks down the center of your brie to complete your tuxedo.

Finally, grab your tastiest crackers, a cold bottle of Bubbly Brut and enjoy the big night in savory style!
